I was going to comment on the article about how it wasn't really a drunken idea... Then I realized we came up with most of the concepts when we were completely drunk.
I think "hey check out this cool thing. look what we can do!" had to have been completely taken out of context. Oh wait, nevermind. That sounds exactly like something you would say.
