I always get him tee shirts and last year I got his girlfriend a shirt with I believe an alligator fighting an elk...she did the ol' 'oh...uh I like it...I do' bit. I still think it was a good gift.
He cannot have my cat...nor can she. He is not to be trusted with animals.
A robot with a gun and knife would be nice, though he would just use it to stab raccoons in his backyard. If you ever happen upon him, ask him to recount his kitchen knife hunt...you won't be sorry, its the best story ever.
Maybe not lose it, but he might trade it for a round of beers.
