Went and saw this yesterday afternoon. I didn't read the book first...but I did have someone who read the book give me the short version of the story line. Worth a watch if you're looking for something...also, fair warning if you're against them...subtitles.
I think I might get the book despite seeing the movie already...anyone read it?

Yes. It is very good. Slow to start, but well worth it and (obviously) more detailed than the film.
