NOT ONE BIT

Last night I was talking to my dad on the phone and I mentioned my plan to get a $10,000 loan and buy a super shitty building (yes they exist) and use it for studio space...painting, sculptures, bike part storage and what have you, basically anything anybody wanted to use it for and eventually we could put on some crappy gallery like shows. He did not like the idea...though I am not deterred...why rent a space for more and not be able to customize it? It doesn't make sense to me.
