TANFFA ALLEYCAT RACE RESULTS

Alright...

It was a short course (~10 miles) with 5 checkpoints...burned down church by the Contemporary, porta potty at Jefferson and Clark, Vess Bottle (in the midst of Ram's tailgaters), beginning of the Graffiti Wall and the alley behind the Tin Can. Each checkpoint had a different colored rock that was a mandatory grab, one for each racer. Also at each checkpoint were the optional red items...worth either time off or cash or both. These red items you ask? A stuffed teddy bear, a suitcase, a tv, cinder block, bricks, 2 x 4, these asshole heavy stones, tennis racket, etc. Racer that finished with the best adjusted time based off the items wins.

1st place & $60 went to Lee
2nd place & $20 went to Ryan (who also received $5 for a marked item)
3rd place & $5 went to Cole (who also got $10 for a marked goose)
DFL & $2 went to Jordan (who I think actually DQ'd but the fact that he stopped to hang out with Rams tailgaters, eat their brats and drink their beer and then got lost and went to Soulard's Oktoberfest for another beer...that qualified him for the $2)

I am surprised that out of the 22 or so red items, they were all carried back...I had a blast. Thanks to everyone that came out, thanks to all the racers, thanks to Mr. R and Ms. J and Ms. HL. And a big thanks to my building for not calling the cops. Much fun was had.
